How to find us

The park is situated on Bury Street West, Edmonton, N9, at the junction with Wellington Road.  There is no car park, but plenty of parking is available on Bury Street West right outside the park or on other nearby roads as there are no parking restrictions.

Buses

The 192 bus runs from Enfield Town to Tottenham Hale and stops right outside the park gates.

The W8 and 329 buses both stop at Ridge Avenue which is a 10 minute walk from the park.

The 231 and 217 buses stop on the A10 Great Cambridge Road at the junction of Bury Street/Bury Street West, and which is just a 5 minute walk from the park.

Trains

The nearest train station is Bush Hill Park, and from here the park can be reached on foot in 15 minutes, or the 192 bus (towards Tottenham Hale) runs from the station to the park.

Opening times

The park is open from 8am Monday - Saturday and 8.30am on Sundays and bank holidays.  The park closes at dusk every day, which can range from 3pm in the winter to 9.45pm in the summer.  Please check the signs on the gate for the closing times each week.

Park Facilities

There are clean and maintained toilets in the park which are open the same times that the park is.

There isn't a permanent catering facility in the park, but there is a mobile catering facility that visits the park.  There are local cafes and shops just a few minutes walk away and can provide all you need for a picnic.

The children's playground is suitable for toddlers up to 13 years old and has a fabulous sand pit and water feature, as well as more traditional swings and roundabouts.  Dogs are not allowed in the playground.

There is a giant outdoor Chess board, dating back from the 1930's.  Look out for chess lessons, clubs and competitions in the park.

We have a wonderful ornamental pond with a whole ecosystem of newts, frogs, snails and insects.

General rules

We want everyone to enjoy the park and we have just a few rules in place to make sure that this happens:

  • Please put your rubbish in the bins.  If these are full please take your rubbish home with you.
  • Please don't light fires or barbeques.
  • Please don't remove anything from the park - flowers, fallen branches or wood - these are home to wildlife.
  • We love dogs, but please make sure that you clean up after your dog.  Please also ensure that your dog is supervised and under control at all times.
  • Please respect the wildlife in the pond.  Lots of little creatures live in here.
  • If you see any anti-social behaviour please ensure that you contact the police on 101 or 999.
